Asheville Americans Who Tell the Truth
Full-Size Prints available for lending!
EEC has created a collection of fifty-six (56) prints all painted by
Maine-based artist Robert Shetterly's. These portraits are all a part of
his body of work known as American's Who Tell the Truth (AWTT).
These full-size prints, which will soon be a community owned asset, are NOW available for lending to schools and civil organizations.

The 2015 and 2017 exhibits were very intentionally displayed at the beautiful YMI Cultural Center on Eagle Street in Asheville, in what
remains of the Asheville African-American historical district.
The exhibit honored the accomplishments of courageous historical figures as well as currently engaged activists working toward greater justice
with numerous issues/problems.
